BM Massage Therapy clinic provides professional massage therapy and contemporary acupuncture for sports injuries; occupational soft tissue injuries; chronic pain management; and stress-related patterns of muscle pain. Advanced massage therapy techniques are used to help restore overall wellness, physical balance and mobility.

Our therapy promotes Balance and Mobility. “Balance” is proper muscle tone throughout the body, with muscles, tendons and ligaments interplaying  to support healthy posture; “Mobility” is unrestricted motion of muscles, tendons and ligaments, free from scar tissue and inflammation.

Massage is the basis of all manual therapies, and that’s what BM RMT does best – Deep Tissue and Medical massage - for the purpose of reduction of pain; improving range of motion of muscles & joints; and education on correct physical function and exercise.

Welcome to BMrmt website.

My name is Michael and I would love to be Your Massage Therapist. I come from a family that's been in healthcare field for generations. My father and uncle were doctors; my great grand father was a doctor, and I grew up listening about medicine and health at the dinner table.  Manual therapy and Massage is something that I've become accustomed to in my childhood - being in sports since the age of 4, my father was treating me pre & post competitions - and it allowed me to return to sport events right there and then. Today - 30 years later - I have evolved that childhood experience to treat my own sons. I have been practicing Massage Therapy professionally for over 12 years, logged over 10,000 hours of hands-on experience, and continuing to study the art of treating human body. For you - that means that I will not only treat the symptom - but rather the root cause of your pain.

Take a minute right now, and book your appointment. If you are not sure about booking your appointment – no pressure - come on in for an assessment; I will tell you what I think is going on with your body, and we will proceed accordingly. Thank you for visiting my website – and I'm looking forward to meeting you!

Deep tissue massage is used for more significant problems, such as chronically tight muscles, strains, and injury. This modality of massage is not just a deeper version of a Swedish massage; instead, it utilizes its own special techniques and strokes to achieve client's goals. The therapist targets the deeper levels of the muscles and the connective tissue to promote healing.

Myofascial Release focuses on connective tissue that surrounds all organs, muscle and bones of the body. Pressure is applied in a specific direction and force to release abnormally tight myofascial bands.

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which localized suction is created on the skin; this mobilizes blood flow in order to promote healing. Suction is created using heat (fire) or mechanical devices (hand or electrical pumps).

Baby massage is gentle, rhythmic stroking of your baby's body with your hands, using a massage oil or a moisturiser to help your hands to glide smoothly over your baby's skin. Baby Massage is a highly valuable tool for a developing child. It greatly reinforces parent’s and baby ‘s bonding; massage to the hands, feet and the face of the child is beneficial to the developing brain neuronal connections. It is also beneficial for the developing digestive, hormonal and muscular systems of your baby.

Feel free to bring in you toddler - I will demonstrate and explain the basic techniques, so that you could work with your baby in a secure and safe way.

Sports massage is a targeted form of massage for athletes, typically given before, during and after events. It helps to relieve swelling, reduce tension, improve flexibility, prevent injuries, and reduce fatigue with the goal to improve the athlete’s performance.

Myofascial Release is a hands-on therapy which can directly change and improve health of the fascia. The purpose of Myofascial Release is to break down scar tissue, relax the muscle and myofascial layers and restore good posture. Myofascial Release technique is applied directly on the body and uses slow and sometimes deep pressure to restore the proper health of the fascia.
